Which founder profile details must be filled in before a listing is released?
A listing stays held until the owner's founder profile is complete; this explains what the profile needs and what happens meanwhile.

Entries for the founder's plaque
Every founder is recorded before their product is inducted. Open /account/founder and supply the following:
- Photo, accompanied by a single caption line describing the image
- Full name
- Title or role
- Country
- Short biography, with a minimum length of 80 characters
- One personal link at the very least: your own website or personal social profile. Company pages are not accepted.
City and a link to your founder story are optional. Leave them out if you wish.
Why a listing is marked "waiting for founder profile"
Verified means evidence on file. Until the owner's profile is complete, a listing may be drafted, submitted and paid for, yet it cannot be scheduled or go live.
Nothing is forfeited. Once the profile is completed, the listing is released automatically.
Paid weeks are honoured:
- Paid week still to come: it is kept.
- Paid week already elapsed: the listing goes live this week.
- Free listing whose slot has elapsed: it takes the next free-queue week.
We will notify you of whichever applies.
Adding co-founders to the roll
Find the Team section of /account/founder and send invitations there. Each co-founder is shown on the product only when their own profile is complete.
Questions people ask
- Can I still pay while my profile is unfinished?
- Yes. Drafting, submitting and paying all work. Going live or being scheduled waits for the owner's founder profile.
- Do I need to supply my city?
- No. City is optional, as is a link to your founder story.
- Will a co-founder be listed straight away?
- No. They are shown on the product once their own profile is complete.
