Terms of service
Launch Trophies · Last updated · Version 1.0
These terms are an agreement between you and Zinn Digital® Ltd ("we", "us"), the company that runs Launch Trophies at launchtrophies.com (the "site"). By using the site, creating an account, adding an award or buying a product you accept these terms, our acceptable use policy, our privacy policy and our cookie policy. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
1. What the site is
Launch Trophies is a public record of awards that products and companies have won. Entries come from two sources: award results we receive from launch and discovery platforms that report winners to us, and awards that a business adds itself. Each award shows how it was checked: Verified (we confirmed it with the awarding source), Evidence linked (a public page supports it) or Self-reported (added by the business and not yet confirmed). We re-check awards regularly and may change their status or remove them.
The site also offers trophy-cabinet profiles, leaderboards, a yearly hall of fame with a community vote, embeddable badges and widgets, and paid products described in section 6.
We may change, add or remove features. Where a change takes away something you have paid for and not yet received, section 7 applies.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. If you act for a business, you confirm you may bind it.
- Give accurate details and keep them up to date. Keep your sign-in details secret; you are responsible for what is done with your account. Tell us at once at launch@zinndigital.com if you think someone else has used it.
- You can buy without signing up first: an account is created for you at checkout with the email address you give, and we email you a link to use it.
- One account works across websites operated by Zinn Digital® Ltd, but each website keeps its own sign-in.
- You can close your account at any time from your account page or by contacting us. Published listings you paid for stay online for the period you paid for unless you ask us to remove them.
3. Awards, profiles and content you add
- Only add awards your product or business actually won, with a link to the awarding source where one exists. Do not change the name, rank, date or source of an award.
- We may mark an award as Self-reported, ask for evidence, downgrade it after a failed re-check, or remove it.
- Awards we receive from a platform are added automatically. If you think one is wrong, contact us and we will check it.
- You keep ownership of what you add (text, logos, images). You give Zinn Digital® Ltd a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, show, adapt to our layouts, and share it on the site, in our emails, social posts, widgets, feeds, the API and the MCP server, for as long as it is published and for a reasonable time after it is removed from backups and caches.
- You confirm you have the right to give that licence and that your content does not break the law or anyone's rights.
4. AI-written drafts and helpers
The site can draft award details from a link, suggest wording, and answer support questions using AI models provided by Anthropic. AI suggestions are drafts: the AI is told to use only facts it can find, and fields it cannot confirm are left blank or marked. You are responsible for checking and correcting any draft before you publish it. We do not promise that AI output is accurate or complete. Do not put confidential information into AI features.
5. Votes, rankings and labels
- Votes cannot be bought. No product, payment or plan gives you votes or moves you up a community vote ranking.
- Community votes, paid placements (featured spots, sponsorships), verification and factual data such as website authority scores are separate systems. Paid placements are always labelled as such.
- Votes need a verified account and are protected against abuse. We may discount or remove votes that we reasonably believe are fake, automated, swapped or bought, and we may disqualify a listing that benefits from them.
- Third-party data shown on the site (for example domain rating) comes from outside providers and may be wrong or out of date.
6. Paid products
Every price is shown on the pricing page and at checkout before you pay, in US dollars. Prices can change; the price you pay is the one shown at checkout when you order.
Paid products may include: a Pro trophy cabinet (yearly), featured winner spots, award-organiser programme listings, sponsored categories, leaderboard sponsorships, premium badges, printed certificates and plaques, and launch or relaunch products for your product. What each product includes, and for how long, is described on the pricing page and at checkout. Printed items are made to order and delivered to the address you give; delivery times are estimates.
- Payments are taken by Stripe, PayPal or NOWPayments (crypto). We never see or store your full card number.
- VAT is added where it is due: UK customers pay UK VAT; consumers in the EU pay their country's VAT rate; EU businesses that give a valid VAT number (checked with the EU VIES service) are charged no VAT under the reverse charge; UK VAT numbers are accepted. Customers elsewhere pay no UK VAT. The total including any VAT is shown before you pay, and an invoice from Zinn Digital® Ltd is emailed to you and kept in your account.
- Our services are digital and start straight after payment (or on the week you choose). By paying, you ask us to start at once.
7. No refunds, and the one automatic refund
All sales are final and we do not give refunds, except as follows:
- If we reject or take down a paid item because we decide it is not acceptable to us (and not because you broke these terms), we refund what you paid for it in full, automatically, to the original payment method. For crypto payments we confirm a refund address with you first.
- If we cannot provide a paid product at all for a reason on our side, we will refund it.
If you are a consumer, this does not affect your statutory rights. Under UK law, digital services must be provided with reasonable care and skill and as described; if they are not, you may be entitled to have them put right or to a price reduction. Because our services start straight away at your request, the 14-day cancellation right for distance contracts does not apply once the service has been fully provided, and if you cancel during those 14 days you may have to pay for what was already provided.
8. Chargebacks, payment reversals and fraud
If a payment is refunded, disputed, charged back or reversed, or our payment providers flag it as likely fraud (for example a stolen card), we automatically take down what it paid for: paid sections are locked, a scheduled launch is cancelled, badges and placements are removed, and the order is marked in our records. If a dispute is decided in your favour, we restore it. We may close accounts used for fraud and report fraud to the payment provider and the police.
9. Badges, widgets and links
Badges and widgets you place on your own website must link back exactly as we provide them. Whether a link from the site to your website is followed by search engines (dofollow) or not (nofollow) is our choice, made automatically from our own rules (for example your website's authority and spam checks), and may change at any time. We may keep a list of websites we do not vouch for.
10. API and MCP server
- The public API and the MCP server let you and the AI tools you connect read public data and, with your permission (OAuth sign-in or a personal API key), manage your own drafts and listings and create orders. Orders made through them return a secure checkout link that you pay yourself; nothing is charged without you completing checkout.
- Votes cannot be cast through the API or the MCP server.
- Keep your API keys secret. You are responsible for every action taken with your keys or by the apps you authorise. You can revoke them at any time from your account.
- Use is free, within the rate limits shown in the developer documentation. We may change limits, suspend keys or block access that is abusive, automated beyond the limits, or harmful.
- Do not use the API or MCP server to copy the site's database in bulk, build a competing directory from it, or send spam. Credit Launch Trophies as the source when you show its data publicly.
11. Taking content down and closing accounts
We may edit for format, hide, reject or remove any content, and suspend or close an account, if we reasonably believe it breaks these terms, the acceptable use policy or the law, or puts users or the site at risk. Where we take down a paid item because it is not acceptable to us and you have not broken these terms, section 7 applies. To report content, use the contact form.
12. Our content and trade marks
The site's design, software, text we wrote and our names and logos belong to Zinn Digital® Ltd or its licensors. "Zinn Digital®" is a registered trade mark. You may link to any public page and use the badges and widgets as provided, but you may not copy the site or present it as your own.
13. Our responsibility to you
- We provide the site "as is". We do not promise any number of visitors, votes, sales, rankings, search-engine or AI-assistant visibility, or links.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
- If you use the site for business, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for indirect loss. Our total liability to a business customer in any 12 months is limited to the amount it paid us in those 12 months.
- If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses you suffer.
- We are not responsible for websites, products or services listed on the site, or for third-party services we link to.
14. If your content causes a claim
If you use the site for business and a third party makes a claim against us because of content you published or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and earlier versions stay available on this page. For significant changes we give at least 14 days' notice by email or on the site before they take effect. If you keep using the site after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can close your account.
16. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring a claim in your local courts. Please contact us first at launch@zinndigital.com; most problems are solved quickly that way.
17. General
If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our agreement; we may transfer ours to a company that takes over the site, and we will tell you if we do. These terms, with the policies linked above and what is shown at checkout, are the whole agreement between us about the site.
