How do I claim my listing and earn the Verified badge?
Take ownership of your company's entry and display the Verified seal by confirming control of your domain.

Claim your entry
Find your listing and select "Claim", or navigate to /claim/<listing>. You'll be asked to prove domain ownership through one of four methods:
- Email verification: we'll send a secret link to an address at your company domain
- DNS TXT entry on your root domain
- HTML meta tag placed on your homepage
- Verification file uploaded to your website
Choose whichever suits your access. Your verification code remains active for 14 days; if it expires, simply begin the process again.
What ownership unlocks
Once verified, you become the listing's rightful custodian (assuming it was previously unclaimed). You gain full editorial control: update details, add awards, manage the entry as the company's official representative.
The Verified badge appears on your listing. This seal certifies that you control the domain—a statement of authenticity independent of any Featured placement or community voting rank. Verification is never traded, never revoked for commercial reasons, and never confused with sponsorship.
Your domain proof stands as permanent record in the hall of fame.

- Which verification method should I choose?
- All four methods equally confirm domain control. Select the one your team can complete fastest: email is quickest for most; DNS or file upload suit those comfortable with server access.
- What if my verification code expires?
- Simply start the claim process again. You'll receive a new code valid for 14 days.
- Is the Verified badge the same as Featured placement?
- No. Verified confirms you own the listing and control the domain. Featured is a paid placement. Both can appear together, but they remain separate honours.
